Thanksgiving Holidays

This was a great week. I was able to come home for Thanksgiving. I came home on Tuesday and got to be at home with my mom and dad. On Thanksgiving my grandmother and my aunt on my mother's side of the family came over to celebrate the Holiday. We had a big meal but instead of having turkey and dressing we had chicken and dressing. That morning I got to see the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade which was cool seeing all of the floats and the balloons. One of my favorite balloons that was in the parade was the Buzz Lightyear balloon which had its second appearance. I did have a nice visit with my family. The rest of the week was nice and restful from not having to be at school. Today was fun because today I went with my parents Christmas shopping at Tupelo and got some of my shopping finished, but I still have a little to do. I will also have some fun tomorrow because I will get to go to the egg bowl and march on Ole Miss's field. I have been wanting to march on both State's and Ole Miss's fields. I do hope that we defeat the now black bears as we did last year because it will help us to have a great end to the regular season. I guess next week that it will be back to classes and studying. So until then Happy Holidays.

MSU blog

Well school is almost out for thanks giving. I only have one more day to go to classes and I can go home for Thanksgiving. I am glad that this time is finally here. I need a break for school and school work. All I want to do is to go home and spend some time with my friends and family. I also want to see my pets that I have not seen for a while due to school and playing in the band at football games. I do hope that the team will do better this time because it was not a good game for Mississippi State last Saturday when they played Alabama Crimson Tide. I was there with the pep band. It was cool being there at the Tide's stadium because I wanted to go there and see there field. There band I thought was pretty good. This will be and interesting game that we will play tomorrow because MSU will be playing the Arkansas Razor Backs. I heard that they are pretty good this year. This is the game where the band will be preforming our patriotic show. I think it will be a great show because every one enjoys the show every season. I do not know much else off the top of my head to interest you so I will say Happy Thanksgiving.

Another Week in Starkville, Ms

Everything is starting to wind down to the end of another semester. Some homework has gotten me a bit busy, but surprisingly this week has been slow and a bit easy. I know that others are having to work extra hard because I have a friend who is an AIS major as well as I am and he has mentioned some of the few papers he is having to write. He in tech writing by the way. Tomorrow will be a fun day for me. I will be going to the the Tide game with the pep band. This is where I have been wanting to go. I want to see the field after reading about Bear Bryant in the book Coach. I had to read that book for my leadership class last spring. It is a good book, and I recommend it to every one who enjoys sports related books.

At the Arkansas game for the bands half time show we will be preforming the annual patriotic show. We will just be playing a few of the well know patriotic tunes. I know that part of  my holidays will be fun because I will get to play at the bowl game and at a good one according to these next few football games.  I hope that all of my readers have a great holiday season. When I find out some more news I will let you know about it next time.

More news from me

This week has been a busy week. I had to study for two test and start getting information for a career paper for Intro to AIS. One good thing about this week is that I am home for the weekend finally. I have unfortunately not been able to do that due to playing in the band at MSU football games. Everything is hopefully starting to slow down and somewhat calm down. There is some bad news in high school football. South Pontotoc is out of the playoffs after not scoring during their first playoff.

I did get to go to the Saint Jude trail ride at Long Bow Trails even though I did not ride. I went there for lunch and an auction. I was lucky and caught a free St. Jude t-shirt when they were thrown out during the auction. St. Jude did make a lot of money because there was a lot of people who came to ride, eat, and buy something at the auction. The auction made a lot of money because most of the items sold for at least fifty dollars and over.  This all of the news I have for this week.
