Final Exam

I want to tell all of you about the parking here at Mississippi State. I know that for me the best parking as a student is at Commuter West near the Ag. Mechanics building which is beside the tennis court. This is where I park and it is near the drill field and not far from the main buildings on campus. I think that the very best place during the day for students and non students to park is in the lot for Barns and Nobles. It gets you near the center of campus. This is also a great place to catch the bus so you do not have to walk all over campus. I think that parking at the Hump or the coliseum is the worst place to park. This is at the edge of campus and is so far from the majority of campus. That is all I have for now for the final exam so until later Merry Christmas.

Thanksgiving Holidays

This was a great week. I was able to come home for Thanksgiving. I came home on Tuesday and got to be at home with my mom and dad. On Thanksgiving my grandmother and my aunt on my mother's side of the family came over to celebrate the Holiday. We had a big meal but instead of having turkey and dressing we had chicken and dressing. That morning I got to see the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade which was cool seeing all of the floats and the balloons. One of my favorite balloons that was in the parade was the Buzz Lightyear balloon which had its second appearance. I did have a nice visit with my family. The rest of the week was nice and restful from not having to be at school. Today was fun because today I went with my parents Christmas shopping at Tupelo and got some of my shopping finished, but I still have a little to do. I will also have some fun tomorrow because I will get to go to the egg bowl and march on Ole Miss's field. I have been wanting to march on both State's and Ole Miss's fields. I do hope that we defeat the now black bears as we did last year because it will help us to have a great end to the regular season. I guess next week that it will be back to classes and studying. So until then Happy Holidays.

MSU blog

Well school is almost out for thanks giving. I only have one more day to go to classes and I can go home for Thanksgiving. I am glad that this time is finally here. I need a break for school and school work. All I want to do is to go home and spend some time with my friends and family. I also want to see my pets that I have not seen for a while due to school and playing in the band at football games. I do hope that the team will do better this time because it was not a good game for Mississippi State last Saturday when they played Alabama Crimson Tide. I was there with the pep band. It was cool being there at the Tide's stadium because I wanted to go there and see there field. There band I thought was pretty good. This will be and interesting game that we will play tomorrow because MSU will be playing the Arkansas Razor Backs. I heard that they are pretty good this year. This is the game where the band will be preforming our patriotic show. I think it will be a great show because every one enjoys the show every season. I do not know much else off the top of my head to interest you so I will say Happy Thanksgiving.

Another Week in Starkville, Ms

Everything is starting to wind down to the end of another semester. Some homework has gotten me a bit busy, but surprisingly this week has been slow and a bit easy. I know that others are having to work extra hard because I have a friend who is an AIS major as well as I am and he has mentioned some of the few papers he is having to write. He in tech writing by the way. Tomorrow will be a fun day for me. I will be going to the the Tide game with the pep band. This is where I have been wanting to go. I want to see the field after reading about Bear Bryant in the book Coach. I had to read that book for my leadership class last spring. It is a good book, and I recommend it to every one who enjoys sports related books.

At the Arkansas game for the bands half time show we will be preforming the annual patriotic show. We will just be playing a few of the well know patriotic tunes. I know that part of  my holidays will be fun because I will get to play at the bowl game and at a good one according to these next few football games.  I hope that all of my readers have a great holiday season. When I find out some more news I will let you know about it next time.

More news from me

This week has been a busy week. I had to study for two test and start getting information for a career paper for Intro to AIS. One good thing about this week is that I am home for the weekend finally. I have unfortunately not been able to do that due to playing in the band at MSU football games. Everything is hopefully starting to slow down and somewhat calm down. There is some bad news in high school football. South Pontotoc is out of the playoffs after not scoring during their first playoff.

I did get to go to the Saint Jude trail ride at Long Bow Trails even though I did not ride. I went there for lunch and an auction. I was lucky and caught a free St. Jude t-shirt when they were thrown out during the auction. St. Jude did make a lot of money because there was a lot of people who came to ride, eat, and buy something at the auction. The auction made a lot of money because most of the items sold for at least fifty dollars and over.  This all of the news I have for this week.

Halloween

This has been a good week up until Thursday. That was when I began to have computer trouble when I was working with Windows Movie Maker. It was very frustrating trying to save my project when it was finished but would not save to my computer ready for the Internet. It got better when I found out that it was just an error with my video converter. It did not covert it properly son that I could save it for the Internet. Other than that things were alright this week. Yesterday was cool because we had our annual Halloween practice at band. I dressed up as Herman Munster from the Munsters tv show or for those of  You who don't know who that is he is just Frankenstein. After our practice we had contest to see who was the most creative, weirdest, best fictional character, and best real person. There was a lot of different people there was Indiana Jones, Futurama characters, a fat ballerina, Bumble Bee form Transformers, and a few other people and things. Today at the game we are going to preform our Halloween show and as I said last week we will dress up for the show. I think that it will be fun. I am hoping that the dogs will have another victory today because it will be cool and it will make my weekend a bit better. I happened to think of something else cool that is going on. It is holiday time and that is one of my favorite times of the year. I just enjoy celebrating the holidays with my friends and family it just makes me extra happy. I off hand do not know any other news to tell you so untile next week"Live long and prosper".

Mississipi State

This was a good week for me because I had some of my classes that were canceled.  Finally today the dawgs have won another game. I think that MSU is eligible for a bowl now that we have beaten UAB. Next week is the week of Halloween. It is going to be fun especially for band because we get to come in costume to practice Friday and will have a costume contest. The next day will be game day and the half time show for it will be the Halloween show that I have already told you about. It will be even greater because we will perform it in partial costume. I will tell you that I will be Jack Sparrow with the hat and wig. If I think of anything else cool that I think you would like to know I will tell you next week.

More news from me

I just finshed another week at Mississippi State after a great fall break. I just found out that South Pontotoc unfortunately lost their game with WaterValley, but I think that over all that they are having a great football season. Today we will find out if State will win over Dan Mullen's old school, The Florida Gators. I think that the dawgs will win because the Gators have not been doing good lately with winning.
On another note my break was great because on Sunday I attended a church home-coming just outside of the town of Sardis. I saw several of my dad's family that I had not seen in a long time. The church that we went to was one that was built by slaves. It had a balcony for the slaves to sit. On Monday I had time to go with my dad to trade day at the Agricenter in Pontotoc. I saw some nice things and some things that I would not buy. Some of the things were cool such as the old tools that they had and a picture of the old town square that was only $8.00 dollars. I did make a purchase of two Star Trek figures, one was from Voyager and the other from Deep Space Nine. I got them for only 50 cents each which I think that they could be worth more because of what they are and how old they are. My dad bought himself an axe.
I have been watching the Auburn and Arkansas game throughout the day and it is getting interesting because it started out going back and forth between the Razor Backs and AU. But now  it has turned out to be Auburn's game especially because it is almost over. Auburn won the game.  I hope you enjoy the rest of the weekend.

My weekly update

This week was alright for me. This week has been busy with testing and studying. On the thought of  band it was great because we just learned our Halloween show for Halloween. We will be playing Monster, Frankenstein, and Ghostbusters. I think it will be great. You will have to come to the game before Halloween to see it. Spots so far this week have been good because South Pontotoc won another game at home against Nettleton. Hopefully State will win against Huston tonight. I am glad that this weekend is a long one because we have fall break this weekend through Tuesday. On another not I am glad that the weather has cooled off. It makes band better because I don't have to fight the heat so and it is also great weather for hunting. It is about time to go deer hunting which is one of the things that I enjoy a lot especially with my mom and dad. I don't know much more to tell you, but if I find out more I will tell you next week in my weekly blog.

Another week in in sports and band

This has been a great week in sports. My old high school, South Pontotoc had their homecoming yesterday against Mooreville and won once again. Also today we had the battle of the land grants or Mississippi State Vs Alcorn State. We had a great victory which made the weekend better for me. Band was great this week because we did not have to learn a new half time show. What we did was perfect the 90's show that week previously preformed. It turned out to be a great show especially because we were able to see ASU's band preform. They had a great show. One thing that I liked about that show was that every one played out especially the low brass section or the trombones, tubas, and baritones. They also had some groovy dance moves. We had some cool line dancing that we did for Achy Brakey Heart.  I don't know much else to tell you. One thing I know that I am happy to get a break when fall break gets here.

Events at state this week.

This was an interesting week. I just recently had something great happen to me at the end of the week. I had my Ethics test that was scheduled for Monday get moved to Wednesday. Also today State just beat the Georgia Bulldogs and my old high school beat Mantachie on Friday.  Finlay my high school got a win after a set of losses. I don't know a lot more to tell you readers. I will just make this blog a short one. Hopefully I should have some more interesting news for Mississippi State for you next week.

My week

This week was ok. I had my first test this week which was alright. I also had my first football game that I did not have to play baritone at. I do hope that the dawgs don't loose like they did last week. One thing good about this week is that we are finishing spreadsheets. I really don't know much news to keep you readers up to date on except that the band is going to be doing an exhibition at Desoto County next Tuesday. At the game next Friday we are going to do the Nineties Show. What we will play is top hits from the nineties, random hits from the nineties, and nineties boy bands hits. I don't know much more as of now so I will tell of you more next week as usual.

Mississippi State.

This is an interesting day today here in Starkville Mississippi. It is game day,but a crazy game day at that.
Lucky for me I have had only one class all day. It was Intro to AIS at 8:00. The MSU campus is very busy with Bull Dog fans coming and setting up for the AU vs. MSU tailgate. I will be at the game today of course because I am with the Famous Maroon Band as some of you that will read this know. We will have a great half time show for you tonight because we are playing some of the top hits from queen. We will also have a crowd pleasing pregame show as well because we will ring our cowbells to show our support for the MSU Bulldog Football Team. I am hoping that we will win as we did last week if the same good luck comes to the team. We shall see what happens to night.

School this week was ok but getting bussy due to upcoming tests, quizzes and current homework similar to this. It will be good in the long run because I will get my needed education and a degree to help me to get a good job within the field of Agriculture. So for now there is no other news to tell you. GO DAWGS!!!

This week at Mississippi State

This week was a good week. Today was the day of the first Mississippi State football game. Our apponit was Memphis State. The game was great because for the band it was band day. This was when we let high school band students play with us at half time. The show that we did was great because it one called Queen which we played the hit song from queen call Bicyle Race. Some interesting news about state is that they have now let cow bells be legal if they are rung during pregame, halftime, and time outs. This was great because we now get to use theme in our half time show. I do now that we had a great victory at the game because the score was 49 to 7. Some thing that will be interesting about next week is that the next game will be held on Thursday. I don't know any other news to tell all of you that read my blogs, but I will have more for you next week in my next blog.

My first blog

This my first blog ever. I think that it will be fun. By the way if any of you have tips I can use for bloging it will be much appreciated.
If you are wanting to know about my blog name it is because I am in the band. I play treble clef music on the baritone. If you don't know what that is it is the instrument that looks like a fat trumpet.
Hope the semester goes well for every one.
